Information we collect log data when you access our servers via The Black Hedge App, we may automatically log the standard usage data provided by your device. This data may include your device’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, your device type and version, your activity within the app, time and date, and other details. Additionally, when you encounter certain errors while using the app, we automatically collect data about the error and the circumstances surrounding its occurrence. This data may include technical details about your device, what you were trying to do when the error happened, and other technical information that may have contributed to the problem.


Device Data: Our app may also access and collect data via your device’s in-built tools, such as:

  • Your Identity, Location, Data & Camera
  • What we collect can depend on the individual settings of your device and the permissions you grant when you install and use the app.
  • Personal Information: We may ask for personal information, such as your: Name, Email Address, Social Media Profiles, Date of Birth, Phone/Mobile Number, Home/Mailing Address, Work Address, Website Address, Payment Information, Driver’s Licence Details, Passport Number, Tax/SSN/Medicare/et, Number, Business Data. Business Data refers to data that accumulates over the normal course of operation on our platform. This may include transaction records, stored files, user profiles, analytics data and other metrics, as well as other types of information, created or generated, as users interact with our services.

Legal Bases for Processing


We will process your personal information lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner. We collect and process information about you only where we have legal bases for doing so.

Details of Call Charges

  • Once a group video call is initiated, the lawyer will receive him/ her fees from the person who’ve started the call and added members are responsible to pay any charges for the same. That means if you’ve started a group video call as an initiator, you are responsible to pay for the lawyer fees and call charges, which will get deducted from your wallet. And your added members in a group video call will not require paying any charges as they aren’t the call initiator.

We may collect, hold, use and disclose information for the following purposes and personal information will not be further processed in a manner that is incompatible with these purposes:                                                                             

  • For technical assessment, including to operate and improve our app, associated applications and associated social media platforms;
  • To provide you with our app and platform’s core features;
  • To process any transactional or ongoing payments;
  • To enable you to access and use our app, associated platforms and associated social media channels;
  • To contact and communicate with you; for internal record keeping and administrative purposes;
  • For analytics, market research and business development, including to operate and improve our app, associated applications and associated social media platforms;
  • To run competitions and/or offer additional benefits to you;
  • For advertising and marketing, including to send you promotional information about our products and services and information about third parties that we consider may be of interest to you;
  • To comply with our legal obligations and resolve any disputes that we may have;
  • Furthermore, to consider your employment application.

  • Unsubscribe: To unsubscribe from our e-mail database or opt-out of communications (including marketing communications), please contact us using the details below or opt-out using the opt-out facilities provided in the communication.

Limits of Our Policy

Our app may link to external sites that are not operated by us. Please be aware that we have no control over the content and policies of those sites, and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy practices.

Changes To This Policy

At our discretion, we may change our privacy policy to reflect current acceptable practices. We will take reasonable steps to let users know about changes via our app or app delivery service. Your continued use of our app after any changes to this policy will be regarded as acceptance of our practices around privacy and personal information.

If we make a significant change to this privacy policy, for example changing a lawful basis on which we process your personal information, we will ask you to re-consent to the amended privacy policy.

Location Access

Once you sign-in as a user and “allow” the location access, you are permitted to see your existing location on the map of this video conferencing app’s screen. Users of The Black Hedge App can also check for their connection’s location on the map. This feature of location access is extremely protected and secure both for the users and their connections.

Payment Gateway

The Black Hedge App has a wallet option to make video calls. Stripe is used in this application as a payment gateway to add money into your wallet. The Black Hedge App may change prices at any time, including changing from free services to paid services. However, you agree to receive prior notice and opportunities related to cessation of wallet. Qualified lawyers will send payment request to general users, which users can either accept or reject as per necessity. Users have further options to report or write reviews about the lawyer’s service.
